SKYCITY Transport Terminal Opens in 11 SKIES
Strengthening Lantau’s Transport Network with Ngong Ping 360 and Big Bus Tours

11 SKIES, Hong Kong's first one-stop retailtainment and tourism landmark in SKYCITY, announces that the SKYCITY Transport Terminal, situated in 11 SKIES, is officially open and in operation. With a total of 16 franchised bus routes and various transport services, it is set to strengthen the public transport network that connects Lantau Island with nearby boundary control points and the downtown area. Concurrently, Ngong Ping 360 and Big Bus Tours – the world’s largest operator of open-top sightseeing bus tours – will unveil the all-new “360 Lantau Sightseeing Bus Tour”, a circular route that features 11 SKIES as one of its stops, enabling locals and travellers to easily visit Lantau’s famous attractions and landmarks.

16 Franchised Bus Routes, Covering 14 Districts Across Hong Kong

The SKYCITY Transport Terminal is located on the ground floor of 11 SKIES. As the main transport hub that connects Hong Kong’s downtown area and boundary control points with the entire SKYCITY, including 11 SKIES, the SKYCITY Transport Terminal features pick-up and drop-off points for franchised buses (including buses to/from Hong Kong-Zhuhai-Macao Bridge), urban and Lantau taxis, tour buses and shuttle buses of nearby hotels, through which locals and travellers can conveniently travel from Tung Chung, the downtown area and the Hong Kong-Zhuhai-Macao Bridge Passenger Clearance Building to 11 SKIES for a one-stop journey of retailtainment experiences and professional services.

By the end this year, a total of 16 franchised bus routes will have diverted their services to 11 SKIES and set up designated stops at the SKYCITY Transport Terminal. Together, their services will cover 14 districts across Hong Kong, including Tung Chung, Tuen Mun, Yuen Long, Tai Po, Kwai Fong, Tin Hau, Tai Kok Tsui, Tseung Kwan O, Lam Tin, Yau Tong, Tsz Wan Shan, as well as the airport terminal and Hong Kong-Zhuhai-Macao Bridge (HZMB).

11 SKIES is also seamlessly linked to nearby facilities by footbridges, such as AsiaWorld-Expo, hotels and Airport Express AsiaWorld-Expo Station. Visitors can travel by public transport to the SKYCITY Transport Terminal and pass through 11 SKIES to attend different activities at AsiaWorld-Expo, such as the upcoming Children’s Book Fair and Super Parents & Kids Expo (8-10 December) and “Chill 11” Fair (23-26 December). In the future, as Terminal 2 of Hong Kong International Airport and the Airportcity Link begin operation, inbound visitors coming from the airport or HZMB will be able to visit 11 SKIES through a footbridge or Airportcity Link respectively, or continue their journey to other attractions on Lantau or downtown by transiting to local transports here.

“360 Lantau Sightseeing Bus Tour” Links Up Tourist Attractions on Lantau Island

In addition, 11 SKIES continues to strengthen its collaboration with the travel industry. In the “360 Lantau Sightseeing Bus Tour”, co-launched by Ngong Ping 360 and Big Bus Tours, 11 SKIES will be featured as one of the stops. Starting from 29 November, its daily services will first depart from Ngong Ping 360 Tung Chung Cable Car Terminal and stop at the Sheraton & Four Points by Sheraton Hong Kong Tung Chung, 11 SKIES, Hong Kong SkyCity Marriott Hotel, and Hong Kong Disneyland, with the Tung Chung Cable Car Terminal as its final stop. This circular route will thoroughly connect all popular attractions and hotel facilities on Lantau Island.

With a total floor area of over 3.8 million square feet, 11 SKIES features over 800 shops including 120 dining concepts, and eight world-class and first-in-Hong Kong entertainment attractions in the city’s largest indoor entertainment hub. Its three Grade-A office towers, K11 ATELIER 11 SKIES, have been in operation since mid-2022, with tenants primarily in the professional fields of finance and wealth management, wellness and medical services, as well as cross-border businesses. With its strategic location near the airport and the Hong Kong-Zhuhai-Macao Bridge, it will also become the gateway and a bridgehead to a population of 86 million within the “1.5-hour living circle” in the Greater Bay Area.
